Work Shop #1 reflection

Updated: Apr 15, 2020

Originally coming into the work shop I wasn’t too confident that I wrote everything I needed to but I also didn’t feel as though is was completely shitty. I had ideas on what to include in the essay but just writing 500 words I wasn’t able to include everything I wanted to. Due to my scattered brain and ideas I knew my single paragraph of information all over the place would definitely need to be revisited. Going forward, I know I need to stay clear of story plots and basically describing the show in its entirety. I tend to go on and on about what the show was about and I don’t quiet explain why the information is necessarily important for my essay. But I do know areas I can add information and maybe make things a little clearer. Also, I know that my sentence structures tend to be long and complex yet that’s it… there is never any short sentences or any variance in structures. My partners draft caught my interest because she teaches yoga- like how cool is that. I am by far the least flexible human known to man kind yet she can teach a class all about flexibility and breathing. When it comes to my own writing it seems to be an exact mirror of my brain; all my ideas in my head are scattered and not entirely connected and that’s exactly how my paper was. This, although, is something completely fixable. 😉
