Second Conference Reflection

Updated: Apr 15, 2020

The second conference went extremely well for me. I went into it with numerous questions and somehow, I left with luckily all of them answered. For me, my essay is not very easy to write and to be honest I didn’t even really know what I was arguing. I, at one point freaked out because I didn’t even know what my genre was that I needed to write about. But Chloe helped me figure something out. Once I figured out my genre, I still didn’t really know what I was going to write for it. But yet again last minute I got some help. My interview went very well, and I got so much insightful information that I am going to include in paper which will help me to explain my genre more. Chloe today helped me learn how to site my sources that were PDF’s and government websites because I had no clue how to do it. Also, she helped me understand what a thesis should look like. For me, theses aren’t my thing; in fact, I can never write a successful thesis. But with Chloe’s help I have a better idea of what to include in it and after I finish conceptualizing what I am doing with my genre I can finalize it. Also, I have a better idea of how to tackle the conclusion. My plan is to finish the essay and then once I’m fully done, I’ll go look into the conclusion. I have a lot to fix for my essay and it is no where near being done but I am a little happier that I have plenty of ideas on how to fix it and continue the writing process. Also, I AM SO HAPPY THERE WAS A TIME EXTENSION! 😊
